Instructor displaying overhead on projector to audience
On July 4th 2018 I attended a workshop conducted by Cliff Edwards from the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC), and organised by Editors SA.

This workshop was extremely informative and helped me to expand my knowledge regarding web accessibility guidelines. Moreover, it provided me with valuable new resources such as content guides, automated tools, PDF accessibility guidelines and accessibility focused courses, to name a few.

Some of these resources I have already described on previous posts. A resource I wasn’t aware of is the GOV.AU content Guide. I believe this guide provides basic building blocks for crafting good content.

Web accessibility still reminds largely unknown by the public in general as well as web development companies. Experts like Cliff Edwards are paving the way for modern and inclusive websites.

Thank you Cliff.
