How to create accessible documents

Previously I have focused solely on web accessibility from the programmatic side and this is mainly due to my professional background as a web developer. However, as I mentioned in my last blog, there is also the publishing side; web content editors need to follow a number of steps when creating accessible documents.

Thanks to the Accessibility Workshop I attended back in July 2018, at Editors SA, I was introduced to key web publishing resources, including guides that outline step-by-step how to make Word, PDF, Excel and Powerpoint documents accessible.
